Decks framed to last decades.
Custom decks designed for shore-area living — composite and pressure-treated framing, railings, stairs, and lighting.
Decks on the Jersey shore.
A deck is structural carpentry pretending to be furniture. Most failures we see are framing failures — improper ledger flashing, missing joist hangers, undersized footings — hidden under nice-looking boards. We build composite and wood decks across the Jersey shore framed to current code with proper ledger flashing, hot-dip hardware, and footings sized for shore-area soil — then finished with composite or hardwood decking that actually lasts.
The four pillars.
Code-correct framing
Frost-depth footings, proper ledger flashing and fasteners, joist hangers, and lateral-load connectors — the structure under the deck is the deck.
Composite & wood decking
Trex, TimberTech, and Fiberon composite decking with hidden-fastener systems. Pressure-treated and exotic hardwoods (ipe, mahogany) when budget and aesthetic call for it.
Railings, stairs & built-ins
Aluminum, cable, glass, and composite railings. Wide stair systems, built-in benches, planters, and pergolas integrated into the deck design.
Lighting & finish details
Low-voltage riser lighting, post-cap lighting, and under-rail accent lighting — wired during framing, not bolted on after.
From first call to final walk — no mystery weeks.

We walk the space, listen to how you actually use it, and talk through goals, constraints, and budget — no pressure, no upsell.

What's actually included.
What we build into shore-area decks.
Standard scope:
- Composite (Trex/TimberTech) decks
- Pressure-treated decks
- Custom railings
- Stairs & landings
- Built-in benches & planters
- Deck lighting
Composite decking (Trex, TimberTech)
Capped composite boards with hidden fasteners — virtually no maintenance and 25–30 year warranties.
Pressure-treated decking
Budget-conscious decks with annual sealing — still the most cost-effective per square foot.
Hardwood decking (ipe, mahogany)
Exotic hardwood decks for high-end shore homes — beautiful, dense, and long-lasting with annual oil treatment.
Railings
Aluminum, cable, tempered glass, and composite railings — each with code-compliant baluster spacing and post fastening.
Stairs & landings
Wide, gradual stair runs and intermediate landings — much easier to live with than steep direct stairs.
Built-ins & extras
Built-in benches, planters, pergolas, outdoor kitchens rough-in, and lighting packages.

Common questions about decks.
How much does a deck cost?+
Pressure-treated decks typically run $35–$55/sf installed. Composite decks $55–$95/sf installed. Hardwood and premium railing packages push higher.
How long does a deck take to build?+
Most residential decks take 1–2 weeks weather permitting. Larger multi-level decks with pergolas or built-ins run 2–3 weeks.
Composite vs wood — which is better?+
Composite wins on maintenance and longevity; wood wins on upfront cost and (for hardwoods) on aesthetic. Most clients on shore-area decks choose composite for the lower upkeep in salt-air conditions.
Do you pull deck permits?+
Always. Every deck we build is permitted, inspected, and signed off — protecting both the structure and your home's resale.
Can you replace just the decking boards on an existing frame?+
Yes, if the framing is structurally sound. We inspect ledger, joists, posts, and footings first — and only re-deck when the frame is safe to keep.
